Uploading an Existing Lease

If you already have a lease agreement drafted by your attorney or from another platform, you can upload it to Domara and still use e-signatures.

How to upload

1. Go to Leases and click New Lease
2. Choose the Upload option instead of AI drafting
3. Select your PDF file
4. Assign it to the correct property, unit, and tenant
5. Set the lease dates and rent amount
6. Send for signature if needed

Supported formats

• PDF files — the standard for lease documents
• File size limit: 10 MB

Tips

• Uploaded leases still get e-signatures — tenants can sign your uploaded document the same way
• Keep the original — Domara stores a copy, but it's good practice to keep your source file
• Track it properly — make sure to set the correct start date, end date, and rent amount so your dashboard and reports are accurate
