How to send invite emails so tenants can create their account.
Inviting a tenant is how you connect them to your property in Domara. Once they accept, they can pay rent, submit maintenance requests, and access their lease.
How to invite
- Go to Tenants in the sidebar
- Click Add Tenant
- Enter their first name, last name, and email address
- Select which property and unit they belong to
- Click Send Invite
The tenant receives an email with a link to sign up. Once they create their account, they're automatically connected to their unit.
Tips
- Use the right email — make sure it's an email the tenant checks regularly
- Resend if needed — if the tenant didn't get it or forgot about it, you can resend from the Tenants page
- Invite before the lease — tenants need an account before they can e-sign a lease
